OUR SEMINAR MODULES
Synopsis
Over and above the consultancy services Faisal Consulting Services also provides portable, customised modular seminar packages to suit individuals' and or organisations' needs and expectations. These modules can be customised for operational level to Senior Executives and Management levels. To date, 4 packages has been developed and running.
Module 1: Provides the participants with an overview to organisational change, program and project management and how organisations are blending them together.
Module 2: Provides the participants with a comprehensive views on project management inclusive of the processes and methodologies.
Module 3: Provides the participants with a more in depth comprehension on change initiatives and how using the program and project management methodologies assist organisation is mobilising the change.
Module 4: Provides the participants with a comprehensive view on Project Evaluation, Appraisal and Review [PEAR] within the Project Management environment.

MODULE 1: Project Management for General Managers
Conducted in an interactive and participative style, this 1-day seminar covers an overview of how project management applications have evolved from operational scientific engineering to strategic business and change management. It describes the major differences between projects and operations and how organisations are blending these two together.
Objectives: Upon completion of this workshop, participants are able to:
- Understand how organisation functions and projects are organised - Appreciate the working relationships that must exist between the project managers, members and the performing organisation that relates to the project.
- Able to structure work such that no internal communication breakdown will occur - Appreciate how work can best be planned, scheduled and controlled in a project environment.
- Assist individuals and teams to formulate an agreeable plan meeting the needs and expectations.
- Guide individuals in project management development.

Done in an interactive and participative style, this 2-day workshop covers the concepts and applications of project evaluation and appraisal and its related processes in managing the overall initiatives.

The course is intended for aspiring managers, team leaders who are involved in programs and projects and would like to reinforce their foundation in project evaluation and appraisal using project management framework, methodologies, techniques and tools in a structured manner.
Content
This two-day session will introduce participants to the concept of PEAR within project management terminologies, framework, methodologies, techniques and tools in a structured manner. It covers a wide spectrum of PEAR starting with business case development, proposals and project quality plan inclusive of performance reviews and checkpoints.
Exercise: Participants will be working on a case study specifically developed for the module
